Are you looking for a book club that meets online? Look no further than our Virtual Book Club! We meet monthly on the last Monday of each month and we read some fabulous books.
Both of the following books feature authors that will be joining us for our first ever Tri-Cities Writers Festival, taking place on June 14 and 15th.
For our meeting on Monday, March 25th from 7pm to 8pm, we will be reading Greenwood by Michael Christie. This award winning novel is a magnificent generational saga that charts a family's rise and fall, its secrets and inherited crimes, and the conflicted relationship with the source of its fortune--trees. It is available as an ebook and eaudiobook on Libby and as a physical book.
For our meeting on Monday, April 29th from 7pm to 8 pm, we will be reading The Double Life of Benson Yu by Kevin Chong. This is a fresh, unique work of metafiction that follows a graphic novelist who loses control of his own narrative when he attempts to write the story of his fraught upbringing in 1980s Chinatown. This book is available as a physical book and as an ebook and eaudiobook on Libby. (actually, it isn't yet but will be by the time this is published!)
