10:00am - 12:00pm
Branch - Poirier
Poirier Nancy Bennett RoomBring your healthy indoor plants, propagations, cuttings, and bulbs to share and trade with others! Light refreshments and a door prize will be up for grabs.
Love plants? Expand your collection, connect with other plant parents, and pick up plant care tips at our free Plant Swap! The City of Coquitlam's Park Spark team will be in attendance with informational resources about gardening and growing indoor plants.
Register to attend.
Please Note:
To help limit the potential spread of the Japanese Beetle, the plant swap is limited to indoor plants only.
General Guidelines
- All types of indoor plants are welcome.
- Please label your plants (labels will also be provided at the library.)
- Check plants and roots for pests or root-rot before bringing them to the event.
- Bring your plants in a portable container - a pot, a ziploc bag with damp paper towel, etc.
- Arrive around 10:00 am to set out your plants. Swapping will likely begin around 10:30 am.
- Take any "leftover" plants home again.
While we encourage everyone to bring plants to swap, you don't need to in order to attend. However, we can't guarantee you'll be able to take a plant if you don't have one to swap. The Library and the Park Spark team will supply a small number of bulbs, cuttings, and plants on a first come, first served basis.
