What do you do when the unthinkable happens, you're lost, it's winter, and it's getting cold? Join Coquitlam SAR as they tell real stories of rescues and how people get lost. Learn what you can do to keep yourself safe during any outdoor winter activities. Our talented guest speaker will go over what to do if stranded, proper outdoor equipment, and recommendations for safe nature excursions in the area. You'll also hear real life stories of rescues and dangerous encounters such as stranded hikers, avalanches and bear attacks. Come armed with questions and get prepared!

Registration recommended. This event is for teens and adults ages 12+, and includes real life stories, equipment review, and discussion.
