City Centre Combined 136 & 137Learn from teen volunteers in a fun, interactive debate workshop! Registration required. For kids in grades 5 to 7.
Teens will lead younger kids in a fun and interactive debate workshop at the library! The program includes one hour of instruction on debate skills, followed by a short, friendly debate. Participants will learn critical thinking and public speaking skills, how a debate is structured, and how to respectfully argue both sides of an issue.
Light refreshments provided. In partnership with the Teen Advisory Council.
