Birding Workshop for Teens

ƛ̓éxətəm Regional ParkLearn birding basics during a walk through beautiful ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park (formerly Colony Farm Regional Park). For teens ages 12 - 18.
Led by birder and author Melissa Hafting, we'll search for some of the 50+ species of birds that can be spotted at the park in the spring. This program is free to attend! Binoculars can be borrowed from Coquitlam Public Library, and a limited number of binoculars will also be available to use at the program.
Dress for the weather and feel free to bring water, a camera, and/or a snack!
We will meet at 9:30 am at the big parking lot at the end of ƛ̓éxətəm (Colony Farm) Road (near the Community Gardens) and end at 11:00 am at the same parking lot.
