Poirier Nancy Bennett RoomBring your healthy indoor plants, propagations, and cuttings to share and trade with others! Light refreshments and a door prize will be up for grabs. Registration required.
Love plants? Expand your collection, connect with other plant parents, and pick up plant care tips at our free Plant Swap! A small number of seeds and cuttings will be supplied by the Institute of Urban Ecology and Coquitlam Public Library on a first come, first served basis.
Please Note:
To help limit the potential spread of the Japanese Beetle, the plant swap is limited to indoor plants only.
General Guidelines
- All types of indoor plants are welcome.
- Check plants and roots for pests or root-rot before bringing them to the event.
- Bring your plants in a portable container - a pot, a ziploc bag with damp paper towel, etc.
- Arrive around 10:30 am to set out your plants. Swapping will likely begin around 11:00 am.
- Take any "leftover" plants home again.
