Plant Swap

Bring your healthy indoor plants, propagations, and cuttings to share and trade with others! Light refreshments and a door prize will be up for grabs. Registration required.

Love plants? Expand your collection, connect with other plant parents, and pick up plant care tips at our free Plant Swap! A small number of seeds and cuttings will be supplied by the Institute of Urban Ecology and Coquitlam Public Library on a first come, first served basis.

Please Note:

To help limit the potential spread of the Japanese Beetle, the plant swap is limited to indoor plants only.

General Guidelines

1. All types of indoor plants are welcome.
2. Check plants and roots for pests or root-rot before bringing them to the event.
3. Bring your plants in a portable container - a pot, a ziploc bag with damp paper towel, etc.
4. Arrive around 10:30 am to set out your plants. Swapping will likely begin around 11:00 am.
5. Take any "leftover" plants home again.
