EAL Book Club - On Zoom!

Are you interested in joining a book club dedicated to Intermediate Level English language learners? Join us for a monthly book club and discover the joys of meeting to talk about books!

New members always welcome!!

Meetings are on the first Monday of every month at 1pm on Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent a few days prior to the meeting. 

Books are selected by Library staff. We read a book over a two month period.

For the January meeting, we will be reading the first half of Portrait of a Thief by Grace D. Li. Please read up to Chapter 24, which starts on page 146. 

For the February meeting, we will be finishing off Portrait of a Thief.

For the March meeting, we will be reading the first half of Denison Avenue by Christina Wong. Please read up to Chapter 27. 

Books can be picked up at the City Centre Library. Ask the front desk staff for the EAL Book Club pick.
