Career For Young Adult Series

Learn how to use and leverage your connections to expand on your job search possibilities, allowing opportunities for sustainable employment. For young adults

Join Coquitlam Public Library and WorkBC Centre for a series of workshops to support Young Adults to build skills, identify job goals and explore careers.  These workshops is focused on topics of special interest to youth however everyone is welcome to attend.

Participants will benefit from LinkedIn Essentials by generating a strong headline, build a professional summary and identify relevant groups and organizations to follow. Learn how to use and leverage your connections to expand on your job search possibilities, allowing opportunities for sustainable employment. 

Registration required. The Library will be offering this tutorial using Zoom.

  • Please register in advance and include your email address in order to attend.
  • The Library will share an invitation to the Zoom meeting via email 24 hours in advance of the session.
  • Please contact the Library if you have not received an email.​  We may be unable to email invitations to the Zoom meeting if you register less than 60 minutes before the start of the program.
