Virtual Book Club

Join us for our monthly virtual book club where we will talk about a specific book and our picks for that month! We will meet on the last Monday of each month.

On July 31st, we will discuss The Secrets Between Us by Thrity Umigar. The continuation of the story of Bhima, one of the main characters in The Space Between Us. The book takes place in India and describes the connection between two women who become unlikely friends. 

On August 28th, we will discuss In the Time of Our History by Susanne Pari. This historical fiction novel depicts life by an Iranian family following the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the generational cultural clashes of immigrants who have moved to other countries. 

On September 25th, we will discuss The Tobacco Wives by Adele Myers. Set in 1946, this story follows a young female seamstress who uncovers dangerous truths about the Big Tobacco empire ruling the American South.
