Join us for an informative and supportive program designed to help family caregivers of individuals with Dementia.
Author Karen Tyrell, with more than 27 years of experience in the field of dementia care, invites family caregivers to learn essential tips for better coping while taking care of a loved one with dementia. This event is In Partnership with Adult Cognitive Wellness Center, a Dementia Friendly Day program which is the joint program between the City of Coquitlam and ACWC.

This program will help to maintain independence and reduce isolation, all while maintaining the individual's current level of cognitive and physical. At the same time, this program assists caregivers with respite and offers caregiver support.
Whether you're new to caregiving or have been providing care for years, this program is designed to provide you with the support, resources, and community you need to feel confident and empowered in your caregiving journey. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and find support on the journey of caring for someone with Dementia.
You'll have the opportunity to connect with other caregivers who understand the unique struggles and joys of this role and to ask questions during the Q&A session at the end of the program.
