Are you looking for work? Do you need to write a cover letter and don't know how to begin? 

Join us to learn simple but important strategies for writing powerful cover letters that will capture the attention of hiring managers. This webinar is in partnership with the ISSofBC Job Quest Employment Program and is aimed at helping newcomers adjust to looking for work in Canada. 

• Understand the purpose of cover letters for job search
• Be introduced to the basics of writing strong cover letters 
• Learn how to plan, write, format, and edit your cover letters for different employers
• View cover letter examples to see how to add value to your job applications

Registration required. The Library will be offering this tutorial using Zoom.

• Please register in advance and include your email address in order to attend.
• The Library will share an invitation to the Zoom meeting via email 24 hours in advance of the session.
• Please contact the Library if you have not received an email.​  We may be unable to email invitations to the Zoom meeting if you register less than 60 minutes before the start of the program.
