Summer Reading Club Art Workshop

Do you love to draw? This program is for you! Join us for a creative workshop for kids ages 7 - 12.

Coquitlam Public Library presents an interactive craft workshop with artist Lauren Achtem!

Join Lauren, local illustrator and designer from Vancouver, BC and the BC Summer Reading Club artist of 2025.

Come get creative with us, as we create colourful habits for our critters as part of this year's BC Summer Reading Club activity! Participants will learn about unique animals, where they're from, and design your own special habitat for them in your favourite colours!

For children between the ages of 7-12.

This program will be offered using Zoom. To attend, please register with your email address.

• Please register in advance and include your email address in order to attend.
• The Library will share an invitation to the Zoom meeting via email 24 hours in advance of the session.
• Please contact the Library if you have not received an email.​ We may be unable to email invitations to the Zoom meeting if you register less than 60 minutes before the start of the program.
