Are you looking for a book club that meets online? Look no further than our Virtual Book Club! We meet monthly on the last Monday of each month (usually!) and we read some fabulous books.
To close out the year, and to showcase the incredible local authors we had at our 2025 Tri-Cities Writers Festival, the following books are the picks for the fall.
For the October 27th meeting, we are reading Here with You: A Memoir of Love, Family and Addiction by Kathy Wagner. It is the story of a mother's struggle to save her son from addiction and the impacts on their family. Available as an ebook on Libby and Hoopla and in print.
For the November 24th meeting, we are reading The Most Precious Substance on Earth by Shashi Bhat. The story of Nina, a teenager and how her traumatic experience affects her life. The book starts when she's a teen in the 1990s and continues to present day. Available as an ebook and an eaudiobook on Libby and in print.
On December 15th, we will be discussing Halfway Home: Thoughts from Midlife by Christina Myers. A collection of personal essays that navigates the unchartered territory of midlife in a time of rapid social, cultural and environmental changes. Available in print and as an ebook on Libby and Hoopla.
