Join us for engaging documentary screening that explore the urgent need for climate action for a sustainable future. There will be a facilitated discussion following the screening.

Join us for an engaging and educational evening at the Library, as we partner with the Force of Nature Alliance, The Tri-Cites Team to screen a highly acclaimed documentaries that shed light on important environmental issues and followed up by a facilitated discussion. Special guests will be invited. 

Saturday, November, 1 -  Friday, November 7, 2025 is BCLA Climate Action Week 2025

November 5, 2025  -  Screening: The Power of Big Oil: Episode 1: Denial (1 hour 23 minutes, rated PG, 2022)

The fossil fuel industry’s history of casting doubt and delaying action on climate change. Part one of a three-part series tracing decades of casting doubt on the science, missed opportunities and the ongoing attempts to hold Big Oil to account.

 The event is free and open to the public. Come and join us for these inspiring and thought-provoking documentaries.

Following each screening, there will be a 30-minute facilitated discussion at approximately 7:50 pm, where you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts, insights, and questions with other attendees. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of the conversation and take action for a better future!
