a Pride event at the Beanery Coffeehouse & Eatery

Get to know your community and grab some great book offerings at this special pride event hosted by the Beanery Coffeehouse and Eatery!

Join us for some great food, books and company. From 1-4pm, Coquitlam Public Library will be at and near the cafe for an accessible pride event. Starting off, from 1:15-1:45 meet us in Noons Creek Park for a library staff pride storytime, featuring books, games, and songs for the whole family. From 2:00-4:00 we will have a table at the cafe with a curated book collection themed around pride and LGBTQA+ history. Any books can be checked out, and there will be plenty of resources and library information available.

The book table will be closed during the storytime period. The outdoor storytime is weather dependent. Storytime and book table is fully drop in, no registration or time expected. 

Full schedule:

• 1:00-1:15 set up and meet and greet at the Beanery 
• 1:15-1:45 Storytime at the Noon's Creek Picnic shelter
• 2:00-4:00 Book collection table with resources at the Beanery
