Juried Art Exhibition: Opening Reception

Celebrate the 2026 Juried Art Exhibition! Meet local artists from your community, view the curated artwork on display, and enjoy delicious food and drink. Registration is required. For ages 13+.

This year's theme is "In Motion". Thinking about this theme brings to mind the forces of nature, the bustle of the city, the energy of a sporting event, and how motion has shaped human history by the movement of people, ideas, and cultures across time and place.

Grab a friend (or two!) and enjoy the refreshments while viewing the exhibit and mingling with the artists. Dressing up is not required, but enthusiastically encouraged!

Registration required. No tickets will be available at the door. 

Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase during the reception. To purchase alcoholic beverages, you must be 19+ and present valid government issued photo ID. Proceeds will go towards cost-recovery and Coquitlam Public Library's programs and services.

The Juried Art Exhibition is on display from Sept. 27 - Nov. 22 at the Poirier branch.
