Poirier Nancy Bennett Room

Meet Pat Calihou, Metis artist who connects with his ancestors through the carvings that he makes.

Pat Calihou is best known for carving Métis style paddles, wooden metis playgrounds, canoes, traditionally built red river carts and most recently a full size replica York boat and full size red river cart located within the walls of the Fort Langley National Historic Site.
