Get into the spooky spirit with this writing workshop for Teens! Every good short story needs a captivating opening, a hook! Need help coming up with one? Join this session to get inspired. Our goal is to help you get started on your best Halloween short story idea, to have a great story ready for the spookiest night of the year.
Come ready to play word association games, free style some story ideas, and write together as a group. This is great session to attend if you're interested in the annual Scary Story Contest, but all aspiring or practicing writers welcome! Candy, social time, and story writing time will all be included.
The workshop schedule is: 11:30-12:30 active participation and group games, 12:30-1:00 optional writing time.
For ages 11-18 ages, registration required. Paper and pencils available, devices for writing welcome, please bring all needed chargers.
