Active Witnessing: Creating Safer Communities

Active witnessing means noticing discrimination, harassment, or harm and choosing to safely take action instead of staying silent.

Have you ever wanted to help people who are struggling? This workshop will teach you strategies to evaluate a situation and help you to safely stand up against racism and hate. Be a voice for positive change in your community by learning about active bystander intervention.

Natalie Wallace is a workshop facilitator living in Vancouver. She is passionate about helping people to build the skills they need to improve their communities through empathy and peaceful resolution of challenging situations.

There will be time for questions from the audience.

Registration is recommended for each session, but drop-ins are welcome. 

Light refreshments will be served.
