Poirier Nancy Bennett RoomDo you want to learn Sign Language? Join the Community Ventures Society at the Library. Welcome for all ages.
Community Ventures Society supports adults with developmental disabilities through inclusive programs and opportunities for connection.
The classes will start with basic alphabets and short phrases for beginners and slowly move to teaching intermediate and advance levels.
The Community Ventures Society have had great success with their supported people, both non-verbal and verbal, who have now learned to communicate by using sign language.
Everyone in the community is welcome to join!

Poirier Branch opened in 1989. It offers:
- Free wi-fi access, no password required
- Meeting and study rooms
- Public computer stations
- Printing, faxing, scanning and photocopying
- A newspaper reading lounge
- Digitization station to digitize old media
