Join us for an engaging and educational evening at the Library, as we partner with the Force of Nature Alliance, The Tri-Cites Team to screen a highly acclaimed documentaries that shed light on important environmental issues and followed up by a facilitated discussion. Special guests will be invited.

November 7, 2024 - Screening: The Power of Big Oil: Episode 1: Denial (1 hour 23 minutes, rated PG, 2022)
The fossil fuel industry’s history of casting doubt and delaying action on climate change. Part one of a three-part series tracing decades of casting doubt on the science, missed opportunities and the ongoing attempts to hold Big Oil to account.
The event is free and open to the public. Come and join us for these inspiring and thought-provoking documentaries.
Following each screening, there will be a 30-minute facilitated discussion at approximately 7:50 pm, where you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts, insights, and questions with other attendees.
