Holiday Card Making

An Inclusive Craft for All Ages

A special craft making cards with local organization Community Volunteer Connections. This session is for ages 6+.

Are you looking to get into the holiday spirit and give back to your community? Join local volunteers for a card-making craft extravaganza! We will be making cards for seniors in our community who need extra care and support over the holidays. Participation in this event also counts as volunteer hours through CVC and certificates will be provided. Any and all holiday greetings are encouraged and the cards will be going to our annual holiday hellos program, so come make some cards to make a senior's day! 

This all-ages, sensory-friendly event is designed to help everyone feel included. This is a non instructional craft with lower lights and no music for sensory sensitivities, but the room will be noisy from attendants. We encourage families or friend groups with individuals who have an intellectual disability to participate. 

Drop in craft, no registration required, but a limited number of cards can be made so first come first serve. All supplies provided. Ages 6+ only. 

Check in is required upon arrival; a name will need to be given at check in if you would like a volunteer certificate. Certificates provided by Community Volunteer Connections as part of the program.
