English as an Additional Language Book Club

City Centre Board RoomAre you interested in joining a book club dedicated to Intermediate Level English language learners? Join us for a monthly book club and discover the joys of meeting to talk about books!
New members always welcome!!
Meetings are on the second Monday of every month at 1pm in the City Centre Boardroom.
Books are selected by Library staff. We read a book over a two month period.
For the June meeting, we will be finishing off The Guest List by Lucy Foley.
For the July meeting, we will be reading the first half of Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo-Reum. Please read until page 147, Finding Its Place.
For the August meeting, we will be finishing off Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo-Reum.
for the September meeting, we will be reading Sandwich by Catherine Newman. Please read the first half of the book.
Books can be picked up at the City Centre Library. Ask the front desk staff for the EAL Book Club pick.
