Community Super Clinics for 2026

City Centre Room 127Coquitlam Public Library is proud to partner with the Canada Revenue Agency, Service Canada and the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction to host a Super Clinic.
These clinics bring together multiple government partners—including the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Service Canada (SC), and the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR)—to provide essential services and support to individuals in one convenient location.
What is a Super Clinic?
A Super Clinic is a collaborative event designed to help community members access important services such as:
- Tax filing assistance and benefits information (CRA)
- Access to federal programs and services (Service Canada)
- Provincial supports and benefits (MSDPR)
Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
- Tax Slip information (T4, T5007, T4A -Pension, T4A- OAS and more)
- Notice of Assessments (NOAs) and Assistance with CRA correspondence
- Benefits and Credits information: Disability Tax Credit (DTC), Canada Child Benefit (CCB), GST/HST credit, Canada Worker’s Benefit (CWB)
- Account updates (address, contact number, direct deposit etc.)
Community Income Tax Program (CVITP)
Individuals can get their taxes done by our volunteers if they have a modest income and a simple tax situation. Our volunteers will be able to file any tax returns for the 2016 – 2025 tax years.
To be eligible their total family income should be less than the amounts shown in the chart:
1 person $40,000
2 people $55,000
3+ $5,000 for each additional person
Generally, individuals’ tax situation is considered simple if they have no income or if your income comes from:
- Employment;
- Pension;
- benefits, such as the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, disability insurance, employment insurance, and social assistance;
- registered retirement savings plans support payments;
- scholarships, fellowships, bursaries or grants;
- interest (under $1,000).
Your tax situation is not simple if you:
- are self-employed, except if your income is less than $1,000;
- have employment expenses; business or rental income and expenses;
- have capital gains or losses;
- filed for bankruptcy;
- are completing a tax return for a deceased person.
Service Canada (SC)
- NEW Canadian Dental Care Plan - Information and Application/Attestation
- Pension information on Old Age Security and Canada Pension Plan
- Get a Social Insurance Number (birth certificate in most cases will be required)
- Receive an access code to sign up for online My Service Canada
- General Government of Canada information
Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR) - will only be there from 12:30 to 3 on May 8 but 9-3 on Oct. 7th
- Assistance with questions related to income assistance
- Get copies of PWD forms
- Initiate Crisis Supplement requests for existing ministry clients
- Assistance with applications for income assistance
- Information on city resources such as housing, food, and rehab
Generally, any government photo ID is required to accesses services.
