Join the Library and IssofBC JobQuest this winter for a series of workshops to support newcomers who are seeking or entering the Canadian workforce. The content of these workshops is focused on topics of special interest to newcomers to Canada however everyone is welcome to attend.
Beginning with a look at the impact of stress in modern-day life, the main focus of this presentation is to describe several ways self-care and mindfulness can be easily implemented to manage stress and build a healthier lifestyle. Mindfulness techniques involving stillness, action, creativity, spirituality and other methods will be discussed. The presenter will lead participants in a guided mindfulness activity.
Registration required. The Library will be offering this tutorial using Zoom.
