Are you a fan of mysteries? Do you wish you could emulate your favourite detective? In this special spring break event, the Library is inviting you to solve the crime - a murder at prom!

This special virtual event is set at Senior Prom at Mayhem High in the totally tubular 1980s. With their high-school careers coming to an end, the students of Mayhem High find themselves battling it out over grades, popularity, affection, class ranking and what they all have been focused on for years… who will be awarded the prom king and queen title?!

Attendees will take the role of a student or teacher trying to solve the crime… or possibly the murderer in our midst!

Please register in advance for this event and include your email address in order to attend. Each participant must register separately.

  • The Library will share an invitation to the Zoom meeting via email 24 hours in advance of the session.
  • Please contact the Library if you have not received an email. We may be unable to email invitations to the Zoom meeting if you register less than 24 hours before the start of the program.
  • We will send out character information to each registrant before the event. If you are interested in a larger role, please note your interest and register as early as possible.

If you have questions, please contact Shirley at schan@coqlibrary.ca.
