Juried Art Exhibit Reception

The Juried Art Exhibition is back! Celebrate the talented artists in your community, view this year's curated art, and enjoy light refreshments. No registration required.

Our 2024 theme is Openness and Curiosity - two of Coquitlam Public Library's essential values. Reception highlights include:

• A meet and greet with the people behind the art. Get a glimpse into their creative journeys and what drives them as artists!
• Live art demonstrations by Carla Vermaat, acrylic artist and member of the Port Moody Art Association
• Refreshments

The Juried Art Exhibition is on display from Sept. 26 - Nov. 6 at the City Centre branch.  Visit us any time during opening hours to view an exclusive collection of curated local artworks.

People’s Choice Awards

Have your say! Vote for your favourite artwork and help us select the winner of the People's Choice Award from this year’s Juried Art Exhibit. Vote by paper ballot at the City Centre branch between Sept. 26 and Nov. 6. One vote per person.

The winners will be announced on the Coquitlam Public Library website and the chosen pieces will be displayed at the library for extended period of time after the exhibit closes.
