Celebrate both the return of spring and National Poetry Month with fantastic local poetry masters, The Troupe de Poetry! They will be bringing some of their magic to the library, holding a two hour party complete with poetry performances, games, social time, and a prize draw. Refreshments will be available, and a Librarian will be in attendance to give a book talk on new and classic poetry books in the library collection. Registration is required, ages 15+ only. 12 and older fine with adult supervision. Schedule is opening reception from 6:00-6:30, event from 6:30-7:30, closing reception 7:30-8:00. Small refreshments provided. Come and experience poetry like you never have before!

For Local History lovers! Join us to uncover the magic behind the City Archives!
Join City Archivist Jamie Sanford for an Archivist Talk as it enters its 11th year of operation.
He will introduce the services and work archives does to ensure that the history of Coquitlam and Coquitlamites is well documented for future generations.
Jamie will also provide an overview of the archives collections and discuss some of the most popular research topics at the Archives. Everyone is welcome.
