Note: this event is occurring at an external site -- the A/B Building on the Coquitlam Campus of Douglas College, 1250 Pinetree Way.
Come see the experiments and innovations developed by local gr. 4 to 12 students in the library's annual Science Expo. We think you'll be impressed -- maybe even amazed -- by the work they have done!
For the first time, the Science Expo will be held in a site other than the City Centre Branch library. Our partners at the Coquitlam Campus of Douglas College are hosting this year. The additional space they can provide is allowing the event to expand. We have more projects in 2025 than ever before! On the day of the event, tables for students and their projects will be lining the Atrium and filling one of the cafeteria wings in the A/B Building.
Visitors are welcome to view projects and ask questions between 11 am and 2:30 pm. After that, students will begin packing away their experiments so they can get ready for the awards ceremony and closing announcements.
You can find underground parking on-campus for a nominal cost. Street parking may also be available, though it may be more expensive.
We hope you find your way to the event so we can celebrate science together on May 3!
