It's hiking and camping season and every year people get lost in the woods. Join the Library and Coquitlam SAR to learn about outdoor safety. Our talented guest speakers will go over how kids can stay safe if they get lost, proper outdoor equipment, and recommendations for safe and fun nature excursions. You'll also hear real life stories of rescues and dangerous encounters such as stranded hikers and bear attacks. If you're going into the woods this summer you don't want to miss it!
Registration recommended. This event is for teens and adults ages 15+, and includes real life stories, equipment review, and discussion. Register for both or just this event.
